Saint George's Day

Hello Kids. Tomorrow it´s St Georges Day

      

Saint George is the patron saint of England and also

the patron saint of Cáceres.

Saint George was a soldier in the Roman army who 

protested against the Roman torture of Christians 

and was killed. St. George´s day is the anniversary 

of his death which was on April 23rd. 

St George is the patron saint of different places, such as Bulgaria, England, Ethiopia, Georgia, Greece, Portugal, Russia and Cáceres, of course.
